FRAGMENTS is a small independent workshop: the person who makes a piece is the person who dyes and ships it. Orders are fulfilled directly, with nobody in between.

How an order works

Placing an order on this site is a request, not a paid purchase. The site processes no payments and charges nothing.

Once we have your request we confirm the piece is available, work out the shipping cost and write to the address you gave. Payment is agreed in that exchange. The contract is formed when we have confirmed the order and you have confirmed payment.

Prices and currency

A piece is priced in its own currency. The switcher in the header only changes how that price is displayed; the invoice is issued in the item's own currency, at rates the workshop maintains by hand.

Shipping is not included and is quoted separately — it depends on the destination and on the piece.

Hand-dyed goods

Every piece is dyed by hand, so shade, pattern and the placement of marks vary between items and from the catalogue photographs. That is a property of the technique, not a defect.

Cancellation and returns

Before you have confirmed payment you may cancel at any time — just write to us.

Returns and exchanges after delivery follow applicable consumer law. Pieces dyed to your individual specification cannot be returned if they are of satisfactory quality.
